Mike is planning to be at his Kearney property with his son Daniel this weekend of July 18th & 19th, and has generously invited riders to join him for a ride on some grippy granite.

If anyone was wondering about the abandoned John Deere on the loop well Marve, the generous property owner, was kind enough to mow the loop around the back 40. Unfortunately he ran out of traction on the hill to # 4, and we can all understand why, except we were riding up …and he was mowing down …sure sign of an experienced Trials rider!
Hard to believe but eight years ago when we last visited this site it rained much harder, after moving the date from April to May for less chance of snow ..third time’s a charm?
Next ATA event will be the Canadian Nationals hosted by Mike Feiner in Kearney, (Huntsville) on Aug 15th and 16th.
In the meantime this weekend there is a US National in Toronto, Ohio. USA
Then a Vintage Trial (with modern mono class) in Kohler, ONT on July 5th.
Or for a change of pace how about attending the USA World Trials Championship in Rhode Island on July 25th and 26th.

Thanks to Cam Whiffing, Butch, Bob ‘stair master’ Kelly, and the Steel City Rider club members for a challenging event …the practice will be eXtremely useful for the hill climbs, and logs this Sunday June 14th, at the ATA Spring-Hill event near Orangeville.
